Kalshi announces that Bitcoin perpetual contract is now officially launched

Forecasting market platform Kalshi announced on platform X that it has officially launched a Bitcoin perpetual contract. It is reported that this is the first Bitcoin perpetual contract product in the United States that has been approved by regulators. This product is a perpetual contract based on the spot price of Bitcoin and is recognized as a futures contract. The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission previously stated that after review, it was determined that the BTCPERP contract complied with the Commodity Exchange Act and relevant regulatory requirements, including the core principles applicable to the Designated Contract Market (DCM).
