It is reported that the CIA director believes that Iran will not agree to the nuclear measures requested by the United States
On June 16, according to a report on the AXIOS website, three sources revealed that CIA Director John Ratcliffe told Trump and other senior U.S. officials that based on the intelligence collected, Iran may be reluctant to make the nuclear compromise required by the United States in any final agreement. Ratkley is not the only person in Trump's top team who is skeptical. According to two sources, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio and Defense Secretary Hegsett both expressed concerns and questioned the agreement in internal discussions, while Vice President Vance and U.S. envoys Witkov and Kushner supported the agreement. The agreement was announced on Sunday after a series of high-level meetings between Trump and his advisers. During the meeting, Trump and his team discussed intelligence gathered by multiple U.S. intelligence agencies, which showed inconsistencies between internal discussions among Iranian officials about the agreement and their statements to mediators and the United States. Two sources said that based on the intelligence, Ratcliffe and Rubio believed that Iran would not agree to the nuclear measures required by the United States.
