Trump refuses to sign bill containing US CBDC ban and forces palace to advance election bill

According to CoinDesk, U.S. President Trump refused to sign a bipartisan housing bill that included a four-year U.S. central bank ban on digital currencies (CBDC), temporarily canceled the scheduled signing ceremony, and asked Congress to first pass his SAVEAMERICAACT election bill. The CBDC clause of the housing bill will prohibit the Federal Reserve from issuing digital dollars before the end of 2030, which was originally regarded as an important development by the crypto industry.
