Hyperliquid's weekly trading volume exceeds US$15 billion. Commodity market-dominated derivatives trading on the chain
According to market news, the trading volume of decentralized derivatives platform Hyperliquid reached approximately US$15 billion in the past week, with commodity-related contracts becoming the main driver of trading volume. Perpetual contracts for commodities such as crude oil, gold and silver continue to rank among the most active trading markets. The 24-hour trading volume of crude oil perpetual contracts exceeds US$1.2 billion in some trading days, and the daily trading volume of silver perpetual contracts is approximately US$1.25 billion. The total daily trading volume of the platform once hit US$15 billion in a single day, and the proportion of non-crypto market transactions increased significantly. Hyperliquid's HIP-3 framework allows the creation of perpetual contracts linked to various assets such as commodities, stocks, and indices, promoting the rapid diversification of trading activities away from traditional crypto pairs such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
