U.S. Senator Warren: Cook ruling proves Pulte should be removed

On June 29, U.S. Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren said in an e-mailed statement that the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to temporarily maintain Lisa Cook as a Fed governor "reminds" that Bill Pulte "is not trustworthy and should be immediately removed from the position of acting director of national intelligence and director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)." Warren said US President Trump and Pulte have now failed to remove former Fed Chairman Jerome Powell and Fed Governor Cook. "Trump's attempt to take over the U.S. central bank is far from over and we will continue to fight back," Warren said.
