Anthropic launches ClaudeScience to help automate scientific research
On July 1, Anthropic launched a new software designed to help scientists automate research in an effort to reduce the cumbersome and repetitive parts of their work. Anthropic said in a statement on Tuesday that ClaudeScience could be used to automate a range of biological and chemical tasks, such as predicting protein structure. The software brings together a variety of tools commonly used by scientists, including more than 60 scientific databases. According to the company, the idea is to make it easier for scientists to automate multi-step tasks, use natural language to ask questions, and get answers without having to query multiple independent sources of information. Anthropic said ClaudeScience will be available as a beta version to the company's paying users.
