On July 1, payment infrastructure company Cybrid released its latest survey report showing that stablecoins are accelerating their entry into corporate payment scenarios. The survey shows that 42% of the companies surveyed have used stablecoins for cross-border payments, 88% said they may or are very likely to adopt stablecoins in the next 12 months, and only 2% said they will continue to rely entirely on traditional payment system. The report shows that companies using stablecoins can save an average of 35% of cross-border payment costs, and companies with monthly payments exceeding US$100 million can save an average of 47%. Wages and contractor payments are currently the most important application scenarios, followed by supplier payments, customer payments, investment and income management, and fund management. In addition, 71% of respondents believe that a clear regulatory framework is the primary factor in promoting the further popularization of stablecoins, which is higher than factors such as the credibility of infrastructure providers and system integration. The survey was conducted from April to May this year and covered a total of 468 corporate executives in the technology, financial services and e-commerce industries in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
