Walsh's speech may boost the US dollar, ING expects the US dollar index to rebound to the 101.7-101.8 range
Chris Turner of ING said in a report that the dollar should remain strong if Federal Reserve Chairman Vosh focused on price stability when speaking at the ECB forum in Sintra, Portugal. At his first meeting since taking office as Fed chairman in June, Washi emphasized the need to bring inflation back to the 2% target. Turner predicted that due to the impact of Walsh's speech, the US dollar index may rebound to the 101.7-101.8 range.
