Saxo: Investors 'expectations for Samsung are no longer limited to beautiful financial data
On July 7, CharuChanana, chief investment strategist at Saxo Financial, said that after the recent historic increase, investors 'requirements for Samsung Electronics are no longer just strong profits. She pointed out that after a cumulative increase of nearly 150% year-to-date, investors need confident performance guidance, lasting pricing power and evidence that AI demand is still accelerating. For Samsung, the key question is whether today's memory chip bottleneck will turn into tomorrow's overcapacity risk. She added that investors will focus on Samsung's full second-quarter results later this month and may start viewing memory chips as late-cycle transactions rather than early growth stories if performance guidance suggests slowing price increases, increased capital expenditures, customer caution or reduced visibility.
