ResolvLabs issued an update on a security incident saying that a malicious attacker illegally accessed Resolv infrastructure through stolen private keys and minted approximately $80 million in unsecured USR. Relevant smart contracts have been quickly suspended, and approximately 9 million USRs held by attackers have been destroyed to reduce potential impact. The agreement currently holds approximately US$141 million in assets, and the actual impact that has been confirmed is only approximately US$500,000 in redemptions processed before the suspension. The current USR supply consists of 102 million pre-incident and approximately 71 million newly minted illegal tokens. As a first step in the recovery, Resolv plans to allow redemptions of pre-event USRs starting from March 23, 2026, starting with whitelisted users. Affected users should coordinate directly with RDAL through official channels. The announcement stated that the incident originated from unauthorized actions by third parties, including targeted infrastructure attacks. Resolv's underlying collateral was not directly damaged. The team is tracking and trying to control illegally minted USR and other affected assets, coordinating with partners and counterparties, and working with law enforcement and chain analytics companies to track down responsible parties. Resolv strongly recommends not trading USR or related Resolv tokens during the implementation of the recovery measures. Users 'trading behavior after the incident may affect the recovery process.
