The Bitcoin BIP-110 mandatory signal window opened in less than two weeks, and the current support rate is about 2.64%
The Bitcoin BIP-110 mandatory signaling window will open in block 961632, and the expected time is around August 9, 2026. The height on the chain is 959842, and there are about 1790 blocks left away from this block. The BIP-110 signal support rate is about 2.64%. The official name of BIP-110 is ReducedDataTemporarySoftfork. It proposes to limit the size of some data fields in Bitcoin transactions, mainly for Ordinals-type inscriptions, large OP_RETURN payloads and similar high-data-volume purposes. If activated, the restriction will take effect in block 965664 and automatically expire after 52416 blocks. It is about one year. Current signal support mainly comes from Ocean, independent miners and small operators. Major mining pools such as Foundry, Antpool, ViaBTC, and F2pool have not yet turned to support. Foundry has required customers to vote based on average computing power, and the pool will switch all blocks to support signals only if the "support" vote exceeds 51% of the participating weighted computing power. If the current signal level continues until block 961632, the node executing BIP-110 will reject blocks that do not issue a versionbit4 signal and follow the few blocks that issue a signal. Unupgraded nodes will continue to accept signaled and unsignaled blocks and follow the chain with the highest cumulative proof of work.
