Prysch: No vote at Federal Reserve meeting may signal a September rate hike
Prysch said the number of negative votes at this week's Fed meeting will be closely watched as a measure of the degree of divergence of opinion within the Federal Open Market Committee. The voting result is expected to be 10 votes in favor and 2 votes against, with Logan and Hamak voting against and advocating a 25 basis point rate hike. If there are more than three negative votes, even if rates are left unchanged in July, it will be a clearer signal that the committee is moving towards a September rate hike.
