The USD-JPY exchange rate is expected to fluctuate in the range of 157 to 165 yen

Two experts from LGT Asia Private Bank pointed out in a research report that the trading range of the USD-JPY is expected to move up and expand to 157 to 165 yen, compared with the previous range of 155 to 160 yen. Experts said the change reflects multiple factors, including the huge interest rate spread between the United States and Japan, uncertainty about exchange rate intervention, and rising fiscal risks in Japan.
