The UK FCA will release daily stock trading data from Friday

On July 31, according to people familiar with the matter, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) plans to release daily summary data on UK stock trading starting this Friday as part of its move to improve market transparency. The regulator will also release a year-long historical retrospective data to help investors assess trading volume in UK stocks. Daily updates will serve as a transitional measure until the launch of a complete integrated stock data stream, a single source of stock trading data. Officials said the FCA will announce the coverage of the data stream on Friday, which is expected to include data before and after the transaction occurred.
