RayDalio reveals that he still holds Bitcoin but only accounts for 1% of his portfolio
On July 31, BitcoinMagazine reported that RayDalio, founder of Bridgewater Fund, said that Bitcoin only accounted for 1% of its portfolio and still preferred gold. In a podcast Thursday, Dalio said Bitcoin is a currency that cannot be printed indefinitely, but faces technological threats such as quantum computing and may be monitored and taxed by the government. Dalio said in his early years that he would not invest in Bitcoin. Now, although he admits to holding it, he still insists that gold is a better choice and said on the show,"I prefer gold." Last year Dalio also admitted that Bitcoin accounted for only 1% of its portfolio.
