Fogo: Mainnetwork operations have been suspended to prevent stolen funds from continuing to be transferred
On August 30, SVMLayer1 network Fogo said that after detecting unauthorized activity, it had taken precautionary measures and temporarily suspended the operation of Fogo's main network to prevent the continued transfer of affected assets. During the suspension of the main network, Fogo will upgrade the network to restrict the addresses associated with the incident. The team said it would release follow-up progress after more information was confirmed and reminded users to obtain relevant information only through Fogo's official channel. At present, the cause of the incident, the scale of affected assets and the recovery time of the main network have not yet been announced. It was previously reported that the Fogo Foundation was recently invaded by unknown attackers, resulting in the transfer of approximately 400 million FOGO tokens to the attacker's address. The foundation stated that it has notified relevant trading platforms as soon as possible and is actively communicating with law enforcement agencies and forensic experts.
