Deribit will release the public reserve certificate page on September 1
Deribit will remove its public "Proof of Reserves" page on September 1, which will no longer be able to verify the platform's customer assets and liabilities on a daily basis. It is reported that this adjustment occurred after the integration of Deribit and Coinbase. Currently, about 90% of customer assets have been included in Coinbase custody arrangements. This change means that Deribit will shift from daily public and transparent verification to an asset verification model based on third-party custody and regulatory auditing. Deribit said regulatory audits will continue, but a new public reserve certification dashboard has not yet been announced as an alternative.(CoinBureau)
