Bybit CEO: Bybit will expand TradFi business based on compliance and create a one-stop financial platform
In the "Make Your Move" global keynote speech held on October 13, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou pointed out that the company will focus more on TradFi and infrastructure construction in the future, and is committed to building a one-stop financial platform. He made it clear that Bybit currently has no plans to launch DEX or products similar to Hyperliquid. Ben Zhou believes that DEX platforms such as Hyperliquid and centralized exchanges do not meet the same needs, so the two are not directly competing. As Bybit continues to obtain more licenses, the platform hopes to expand its user base and attract more users to Web3. He further pointed out that centralized exchanges should assume the role of financial infrastructure and traffic portals, and use products such as Bybit Card and Bybit Pay to connect the real world with the encrypted world, which is also Bybit's current core development focus.
