Opinion: Analysts Don't Care About MSCI, MSTR Bullish Consensus Remains Solid
On October 16, MicroStrategy (MSTR)'s market outlook became a focal point of discussion on X by CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju. He noted that potential risks related to the MSCI index have not drawn analyst attention, and the overall market consensus on MSTR remains bullish. Ki Young Ju mentioned that Citi, Barclays, and B. Riley have set price targets of $240, $175, and $195, respectively, and these targets are trending upward rather than downward. In his view, the MSCI factor is merely a topic at the capital flow level, and the market has long since priced it in. He emphasized that the more noteworthy indicators at present include: mNAV at roughly 1.0x, STRC holding at par, and $3.75 billion in reserves sufficient to cover dividends. Thanks to upward revisions to Wall Street price targets and the support of key financial metrics, the bullish thesis for MSTR has not been shaken by MSCI-related factors.
