Axis Robotics: Team and investors have not sold AXIS; recent sell-offs suspected to involve OTC counterparties
Axis Robotics has issued an official statement regarding the concentrated sell-off of AXIS tokens on secondary markets from October 28 to 29, affirming that neither the team nor investors have sold any tokens. As of now, a total of 835 million AXIS tokens—representing 83.5% of the total supply—allocated to the team, investors, and other parties subject to vesting schedules remain held in a jointly managed vesting contract controlled by the project and Binance. No withdrawals have occurred, and these tokens will remain fully locked and non-transferable until the 12-month vesting period expires.
According to the project, the tokens recently entering the market originated from the ecosystem allocation portion of the initial circulating supply, originally intended for delivery via a single OTC counterparty under a written agreement that explicitly stipulates lock-up obligations. The project notes that the recent secondary-market sell-off closely aligns with this OTC counterparty’s activity; if confirmed to be its unilateral action, such sales would constitute a clear breach of the agreement. In response, Axis Robotics has immediately terminated all further collaboration with this OTC counterparty and is working with external legal counsel to conduct a full review of contractual compliance.
