This assessment relies on third-party estimates—such as those from Forbes—of Binance’s 2024 and 2025 revenues, both projected between 16 billion and 17 billion US dollar. Assuming a 50% profit margin (a conservative figure relative to Coinbase’s recently reported 59% margin), annual profits would amount to roughly 8 billion to 8.5 billion US dollar, meaning the 3 billion US dollar loss represents over half a year’s net profit. Additionally, according to the 2025 BNB burn plan amount (projected at 4.4 billion to 4.5 billion US dollar), this loss is roughly equivalent to 8–9 months of burn volume.
