Trump Comments on Iran Situation: Negotiations Underway Between Both Sides

On October 31, U.S. President Trump confirmed that “there are talks” underway between the United States and Iran, though he declined to disclose the specifics or current status of the negotiations. According to a diplomatic source, Qatari negotiators have been holding continuous talks with Iranian officials in Tehran for 12 hours—and those discussions are still ongoing. The source added that Qatari mediators remained in regular contact with the White House throughout the day, emphasizing: “Negotiations are still progressing, with all parties committed to reaching an agreement between the U.S. and Iran.”
