According to Coinglass data, on November 5, if Bitcoin’s price breaks above the $82,000 level, approximately $337 million worth of aggregate short positions across major centralized exchanges (CEXs) would be liquidated. Conversely, if the price drops below $79,000, aggregate long positions on major CEXs would trigger roughly $919 million in liquidations.

Note that the liquidation heatmap does not depict the exact number of contracts pending liquidation or the precise value of those contracts. Instead, the height of each bar reflects the *relative significance*—or “liquidation intensity”—of a given liquidation cluster compared to neighboring price levels. In other words, the chart illustrates the potential market disruption triggered when the underlying asset’s price reaches a specific level: the taller the bar, the more intense the cascade of forced liquidations likely to occur due to concentrated liquidity gaps at that price point.
