Ripple introduces AI to comprehensively strengthen XRPL: More than 10 vulnerabilities have been discovered, next version will focus on security fixes

On March 28, RippleLabs announced that it will introduce an AI-driven security system in XRPLedger, using machine learning tools to run through the entire process of code review, confrontation testing and vulnerability discovery to address the security challenges brought by the growth of enterprise-level applications. According to reports, Ripple has formed an AI-assisted "red team" to simulate attack behaviors through fuzzizing and automated confrontation testing. More than 10 vulnerabilities have been discovered and are being repaired as a priority. The company said the move would shift the security mechanism from "passive repair" to "proactive discovery." It is worth noting that the next version of XRPL will not introduce new features, but will focus entirely on vulnerability fixes and system hardening, highlighting the significant increase in security priorities. The move comes as Ripple accelerates the expansion of its institutional business, including stablecoins and real-world asset (RWA) application scenarios, placing higher requirements on the security of the underlying ledger.
