Bitcoin prices rebounded strongly around US$63000, breaking through US$75401 in 48 hours, completing an upward attack of 5.8 times the standard deviation level. This trend has prompted analyst Pierre Rochard to re-emphasize his bullish roadmap: a target of US$80,000 in 2026, exceeding US$120,000 in 2027, and a target of US$300,000 in 2030. Short-term momentum comes from short liquidation and breakthrough of the downtrend line, but whether the leveraged surge can be transformed into actual spot demand will be the key to determining whether the long-term goal can be achieved.
Pierre Rochard, analyst at Pierre Rochard's $80000 to $300,000 roadmap
, believes that Bitcoin will stabilize near around $80000 in 2026. He pointed out that the current market does not yet have the conditions to enter a "parabolic rise", but is expected to exceedUS$120000by 2027. Looking to the longer cycle, its forecasts suggest Bitcoin could reach$300000in 2030.
The Fed's policies and the macro environment are the core variables of this forecast. Rochard analyzed that if weak economic performance allows the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates without triggering inflation, Bitcoin will benefit from improved liquidity. At the same time, he mentioned that artificial intelligence (AI) technology may optimize the macro outlook by increasing productivity and curbing inflation, thus creating a more favorable market environment for risky assets, including bitcoin.
The $80,000 target refocuses
bitcoin's recent price movements to signal renewed momentum. BTC rose from about$63000 to$75401in less than 48 hours, forming a trend pattern of higher highs and lower lows. Buyers had successfully defended themselves in the $63000 zone, showing a rebound in market confidence.
This rally is partly due to the acceleration of large-scale short liquidations. According to the report, as Bitcoin and Ethereum prices soared, approximatelyUS$1.4 billion to US$1.7 billion in short crypto positions were cleared, effectively removing the impact of bearish leverage.
Glassnode emphasized that the price fluctuations were unusually large. Data showed that Bitcoin's price climbed sharply from about $75401, a change equivalent to 5.8 times the standard deviation (5.8 sigma) of its 30-day volatility-the largest one-day gain since October 2023.
Looking back at historical data, we can find that the last time there was such a significant closing fluctuation was in February, when it was only a rebound after a-14% plunge the previous day. However, the current market is different. The market has not experienced the previous plunge, so this 5.8 sigma fluctuation has become the most violent upward trend since October 2023.

However, clearing data alone cannot directly verify whether sustainable spot demand exists.
Onchain
analyst firm Onchain Insights pointed out that Bitcoin has successfully broken through the resistance of the annual downtrend line, and the price has rebounded to the US$70000 range. If closing performance can be maintained above this key support level, it may signal weakening selling pressure and provide momentum for subsequent gains.
Another analyst believes that short positions before the key level of $80000 face limited resistance, making this level a target worthy of focus in the near term.
The selling pressure of the BTC giant whale is mainly concentrated in the range of US$74000 to US$80000, and there is a large price span between these two resistance levels.

get back to US$120,000?
Rochard analyzed that if the macroeconomic environment changes positively, Bitcoin is expected to easily exceed the US$120000 mark next year. Its long-term target of US$300000 for 2030 reflects the market's widely optimistic expectations for improved liquidity, shrinking supply and widespread application.
Pierre Rochard's views were endorsed by Anthony Scaramucci, CEO of SkyBridge Capital, who believes that Bitcoin is expected to exceed $100000. This judgment is based on market expectations brought about by the halving cycle and the slowdown in the release of new supply.
Currently,$80000 has become an important short-term goal. Whether Bitcoin can transform this round of leverage-driven upward trend into actual spot demand is not only related to whether Pierre Rochard's long-term target of US$120000 or even US$300000 has a realistic basis, but will also become a key point for the market to verify its forecast.
